A monitoring system for ablation of cardiac tissue in the close proximity of the AV node of the heart, characterized in that it comprises : - At least one ablation catheter (12) powered by a power source (16); - At least one electrode (13) acquiring an intracardiac electrograms (IEGM), called IEGM electrode; - At least one set of electrodes (14) acquiring a surface electrocardiogram (ECG), called ECG electrodes; - At least one calculator (15, 17, 25) and a memory for measuring in real time signals acquired from the IEGM electrode and the ECG electrodes, treating both signals (IEGM, ECG) for automatically generating at least one stop command (Sc) when detecting at least one given arrhythmia event, the at least generated stop command (Sc) controlling the power source (16) of the ablation catheter (12) in order to automatically cut-out ablation catheter energy. |
