PURPOSE:To provide a method for cleansing articles, capable of being satisfied with demand performances such as cleansability, environmental characteristics and non-flammability, when fats and oils, etc., adhered to the articles such as electronic parts and precise mechanical parts are cleansed. CONSTITUTION:A method for cleansing an article having fats and oils adhered thereto comprising bringing the article into contact with a non-flammable and non-halogenated industrial cleanser to cleanse the fats and the oils, and subsequently bringing the article into contact with a non-flammable fluorocarbon to remove the cleanser adhered to the article, thereby providing the cleansing method which has excellent working efficiency permitting to omit heating and drying processes, etc., while maintaining the advantageous characteristics of non-flammable and non-halogenated industrial defatting cleansers such as good non-flammability, cleansability and environmental characteristics. |
