Method for wrapping a cultivation plant, such as a forest plant, in a protective material, especially a web-shaped material of very thin, loosely coherent or loosely joined fibres. The plant is arranged in a space which is delimited by at least two parallel, mutually adjacent rollers and such that it comes into contact with the protective material. The rollers are rotated in order to make the plant rotate and become enwrapped in the protective material which is fed in to the plant.
