Described is an improved strainer, which is formed by a container having the shape of a vertically arranged funnel (1) including in its inner portion a light spherical body (2) that covers the lower orifice (7) of the container (1), where urine or other fluids are passed, and a cap (3) for closing the upper portion of the container (1); said strainer has a flange projected in an helix shape (4) through the inner wall of the container (1); the helix is useful for transporting a small amount of water through the inner wall of the container until reaching the lower orifice of the container (1); and at least a conduit (5) vertically traveling the external wall of the container (1), where both end portions of said conduit (5) are opened and remain exposed to the inner portion of the container (1), in such a manner that this conduit (5) provides air to the lower orifice (7) of the container (1) for lifting in an easy manner the light sphere (2).
