PURPOSE: To provide a dovetail slot shape effective in increasing the low cycle fatigue service life of an assembly when a rotor blade is mounted on a rotor disk in a gas turbine engine. CONSTITUTION: To eliminate a stress peaking at the boundary of a support surface 18 between a rotor blade dovetail 14 and a disk dovetail slot 16 in a gas turbine engine, an undercut 34 is provided in the dovetail slot to remove a disk material so as not to be brought into contact with an inner side edge in the radial direction of the rotor blade dovetail where the surface stress peaking is generated.
