PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. excellent in both the strength and persistence hydrophilicity. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises 99-60wt.% polyolefin resin and 1-40wt.% ethylene copolymer which consists of units (a) of the formula: -CH2-CH2-, units (b) of the formula: -CHR<2>-CR<1>COOH-, and units (c) of the formula: -CR<4>X-CR<3>COOR[wherein R<1> to R<4> are each H or lower alkyl; R is lower alkyl; and X is H or COOR' (wherein R' is lower alkyl)] in such a molar ratio that (b+c)/(a+b+c) is 0.09-0.20 and b/(b+c) is 0.7-1.0. |
