PURPOSE:To efficiently solidify molten magnesium chloride into a flaky or granular shape. CONSTITUTION:Molten magnesium chloride is continuously brought into contact with the surface of a rotary drum 1 or disk which is forcedly cooled internally. Consequently, the magnesium chloride is cooled and successively released from the surface of the drum 1 or disk, a solidified layer is not formed on the surface of the drum 1 or disk, and a decrease in the cooling rate due to the formation of a solidified layer is prevented. |
