PURPOSE:To increase the speed and the capacity of a rotary electric machine by providing a commutator of smaller diameter than a cylindrical rotary conductor and an auxiliary winding at the stator side opposed to a riser. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is formed of an exciting winding 2 for generating a main magnetic flux phi of single pole, a core yoke 3 of a magnetic shield, an auxiliary winding 10, a current collecting brush 5 and an output terminal 6. A rotor 7 is formed of a cylindrical rotary conductor 9, an insulated riser 12, and a commutator of smaller diameter than the conductor 9 electrically connected to the riser 12. The winding 10 is held at the stator side opposed to both sides of the conductor 9, and the brush 5 is disposed to contact only with the commutator segment 14 disposed on the axial extension of the position for surrounding the rise of the winding 10. |
