PURPOSE:To obtain a blown article having a flange, the mounting strength, surface accuracy, thickness accuracy and the like of which are markedly improved, by a method wherein parison and halved bodies are united. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, respective halved bodies 13 are set in respective grooves 21. Next, parison is hung between a pair of split molds 20. Further, the upper end part of the parison is pinched by closing a pair of the split molds 20. After that, an air blowing nozzle 23 is driven through the lower end part into the parison 22 so as to inject compressed air in the interior of the parison 22 in order to shape the parison 22 into the predetermined form. At this time, the parison 22 is brought under the condition so as to catch up engaging projected parts 15, resulting in fitting the parison and the respective halved bodies 13 in tongue and groove fashion into an integral body. After being shaped into the predetermined form, a molded article is cooled down so as to complete its forming. |
