PURPOSE: To obtain a radiograph stress measuring apparatus having robust and simple structure in which a measurement can be performed with high accuracy in a short time and an accurate measurement can be obtained even when the exposure time is long. CONSTITUTION: The radiographic stress measuring apparatus comprises a guide rail 17 laid on a flat board 11, a first lever 18 turnable in a plane about a first pivot point 14 at one end of the guide rail, a second lever 22 pivoted to the first lever at a second pivot point 21, and a third lever 23. A sample 25 is supported at the other end of the second lever 22 and a measuring unit 28 for supporting a film 31 is provided at the other end of the third lever 23. The second lever 22 is slid along the guide rail 17 and when the incident angleΨof an Xray beam 13, extending in parallel with the guide rail 17 and focusing above the pivot point 14, is varied, the position of a reflected beam 34 on the measuring unit 28 represents the measurement.
