PURPOSE:To reduce buffer memory capacity, to reduce the development cost and the product cost and to improve a packet data relay capability between buses by simplifying a packet data relay function between buses in inter-bus connection device so as to simplify the circuit configuration of the inter-bus connection device and the software configuration. CONSTITUTION:Communication control means 111, 121, 211, 221 of respective configuration equipments 110, 120, 210, 220 execute data packet communication among the configuration equipments and especially a retransmission control function and a flow control function are directly executed among the configuration equipments. A frame relay control means 20 of an inter-bus connection device 10 realizes only a packet frame relay function of a data packet among the configuration equipments.
