PURPOSE:To surely fix a skin material on the given position of a mold by positioning the skin material on a bottom force and a skin material supporting frame, clamping top and bottom forces, sucking the skin material on the top force face by means of a vacuum hole of the top force, and then pressing the skin material to the lower face of the top force by the skin material supporting frame. CONSTITUTION:A skin material 18 shaped preliminarily is placed on a bottom force 9 and a skin material supporting frame 14, and top and bottom forces 1 and 8 are clamped and the skin material 18 is chucked on the top force face 2 by vacuum suction through a vacuum hole 6 formed in the top force 1. Then the skin material 18 is pressed to the lower face 7 of top force by the skin material supporting frame 14 and clamped to lift up the top force 1, and thermoplastic resin is fed from the bottom force 8, mold clamped and pressure cooled. Thus a large and complicated multi-layer molded product with the skin material applied to the surface of a core material layer can be manufactured. |
