<p>PURPOSE:To prevent image developing particles from being transferred to a non-image part, to form a high-density distinct image, and to restrain the unnecessary consumption of the image developing particles. CONSTITUTION:In an electrostatic developing method in which alternating magnetic field and alternating electric field are impressed to transfer the image developing particles in developer 4 to a latent image holding member 1, the developer 4 contains at least the image developing particles having magnetism and silicone resin powders which are triboelectrified with the image developing particles, and the developer 4 is allowed to cyclically be in contact with/separate from the member 1 or to be always in contact with the member 1.</p> |
