<p>PURPOSE:To avoid a not yet fixed toner image from being rubbed and disordered by setting the transportation direction of a transfer paper sheet to make a not yet fixed toner image on the transfer paper sheet have no contact with guides in compliance with an image forming mode signal. CONSTITUTION:The transportation direction of a transfer paper sheet S2 is deflected to make a not yet fixed toner image on the transfer paper sheet S2 have no contact with guides 3U, 3D. In this case, the transfer paper sheet S2 is deflected by up and down displacement of a belt 4 in relation to a fixing apparatus. The belt 4 is turnably supported on a common supporting member opposite to each other and composed as a part of a transportation belt unit having a pair of rollers to lay the belt 4 thereon and the roller 5 on the downstream side out of the pair of the rollers, the transfer paper sheet transportation direction is moved up and down to move the belt 4 up and down against a fixing apparatus. Or, the transfer paper sheet S2 is deflected by up and down displacement of the whole body of the fixing apparatus against the belt unit. Consequently, independently of the thickness of the transfer paper sheet S2 and toughness of the paper, disorder of the not yet fixed toner image by the guides can be prevented.</p> |
