<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the dispersion, caused by the individual difference of a printer, of the tip margin of sheet material after image formation. CONSTITUTION:When a sensor lever 12 is operated by sheet material P, a photo sensor 33 held on a sensor holder 32 detects this. The sensor holder 32 is positioned by a lower carrier guide 6, that is, a paper feed part 1, regarding the thickness direction of the sheet material P, and simultaneously by a supporting member 50, that is, an image forming part M (a sensitized body) regarding the carrier direction of the sheet material P. The sensor holder can thereby heighten positioning accuracy in relation to the paper feed part 1 and image forming part M. This accuracy controls the tip margin of the sheet material P. The tip margin can be thus kept constant regardless of the individual difference of a printer without performing individual adjusting work printer by printer.</p> |
