PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a CPU and at the same time to simplify the control for a device which writes the parallel data into a buffer and transmits the parallel data as the serial data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 which can continuously write the m-byte parallel data is provided together with a buffer 2 which can hold the parallel data and outputs an empty flag (d) when no data is written, a parallel/serial shift register 3 which outputs the parallel data loaded from the buffer 2 after converting the parallel data into the serial data and outputs the data of the fixed value when no data is loaded, and a circuit (a selector 5) which inhibits the loading of data into the register 3 when the flag (d) is outputted. |
