PURPOSE:To provide a harness protecting structure which prevents the interference between a harness and a brake shaft in tilt operation and prevents the breakage of the harness which is caused by friction and improves the durability of each constitution part, as for a steering device equipped with a tilt mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A harness protecting structure for a tilt mechanism is constituted so that a harness clip 27 equipped with a guide which is constituted of an annular guide part 27a which is fitted in turnable manner an a brake shaft 5 and a clip part 27b which is installed integrally with the guide part 27a and clamps the intermediate part of a harness 21 is installed on the brake shaft corresponding to the contact part of the intermediate part of the harness 21. |
