<p>PURPOSE:To provide a correction method of a color cathode-ray tube having an antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing film in which relatively easy correction can be performed by applying a antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing painting liquid or base painting liquid to a defective part of the antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing film generated by attachment of dust, defects of the surface, etc. CONSTITUTION:By applying antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing painting liquid or base painting liquid to a part of a defect 16 such as a color irregularity due to attachment of dust 15 or the like in an antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing film 2 of porous silica material, normal parts and the part of the defect 16 become uniform so as to correct the part of the defect 16. When the defect is detected before baking, it can be corrected without removing the antistatic processing type light selecting and absorbing film from a face plate surface of a color cathode-ray tube by salvage as conventionally.</p> |
