<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely inexpensive image reader by which EL driving in low frequency can be easily performed and in which the luminance of an EL light emitting element can be prevented from being deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:The image reader equipped with at least a light emitting element 30 with which an original 100 is irradiated and a light receiving element 10 which reads reflected light from the original 100 is provided in such a way that the light emitting element 30 is comprised of the EL element and the light receiving element 10 is comprised of a photoconduction type photoelectric conversion element.</p> |
