PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which thins thickness of the display device, and also, prevents a camber and a distortion of a liquid crystal panel by inserting a first polarizing plate into a display opening part of a bezel, and can improve the display quality by a thin type. CONSTITUTION:In the liquid crystal display device provided with a liquid crystal panel 11 constituted of a liquid crystal cell 12 having a liquid crystal layer 15 and a pair of transparent substrates 16, 17 for inserting and holding the liquid crystal layer 15 between them, and also, a first and a second polarizing plates 13, 14 for inserting and holding the liquid crystal cell 12 between them, and a bezel 18 having a display opening pad 18a for exposing a first polarizing plate 13, and for covering a peripheral edge part of the liquid crystal panel 11, a first polarizing plate 13 is inserted into the display opening part 18a of the bezel 18. |
