DEVICE CONTROL COMPUTER AND DEVICE CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE:To carry on the processing with a device control computer which is used to a production line by substituting for a message with operation of a user if a production device or a check device to be controlled is unable to transmit the message. CONSTITUTION:A commend definition file 12 is prepared to define the type and the address of a commend together with a format definition file 13 which defines the communication format of the command. A user interface means 10 contains a display device and an input device and refers to both files 12 and 13 to urge the selection of the commend and then the input of a parameter. Then the means 10 composes a command based on the selected commend and the input parameter and transmits this commend to the address designated by the file 12.
