The cell comprises a metallic screen enclosing the cell on all sides and forming its outer wall, a middle conductor asymmetrically arranged, and devices for production and absorption of e.m. waves. The cell consists of two equal funnel-shaped parts (1,2). These are mutually rotated with respect to one another in the vertical by 180 deg. The two parts on their open funnel ends are electrically and mechanically coupled together with their external walls and middle conductors. The connection of the outer walls is pref. HF-tight. The lower outer walls (13,23) is pref. coplanar. The cell parts may be rectangular or square parallel to their openings with vertical side walls (11,12,21,22).
