Crossflow micro filter, in which a semi-permeable membrane surrounds a rotation body rotated around an axis with close radial spacing, where the rotation body is provided with, in the circumferential direction, equally spaced, radial outward projections, where the gap formed as the radial spacing, is at one of its ends connected to a feed line for the liq. to be filtered and at the other end to a line for the retentate, thereby determining the liq. flow direction through the gap, and being novel in that the projection on the rotation body are formed as effective pumping propeller blades which have axial transporting direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - Cross-flow membrane filter with application in beer and wine prodn., biosynthetic fermentation and chemical separations, and sewage sludge processing, etc. to provide high solids concn. with reduced membrane blinding.
