<p>PURPOSE:To improve machine responsibility and operability by consecutively shifting modes without stopping the running of a tape when the mode is shifted. CONSTITUTION:When a capstan search is shifted to a reel search, a capstan control part 4 and a capstan driving part 5 performs only the rotation control of a capstan 19, and when the shift is reversed, they performs the phase control of the capstan 19, too. When tape speed reaches prescribed speed, a pinch roller control part 2 and a pinch roller driving part 3 set a pinch roller 18 apart from a capstan 19 when the capstan search is shifted to the reel search, and press the pinch roller 18 against the capstan 19 when the shift is reversed. A reel control part 6 and a reel driving part 7 switch between both the search states and rotate the respective reels at the prescribed speed. Thus, the continuity of a reproduced image can be improved, the mechanical responsiveness can be improved and handleability can be enhanced.</p> |
