<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the display from being turned OFF at the time of key input and to prevent the display from being turned ON even at the time of key input by managing whether or not one point time key input control is performed with a BIOS. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not the key input control is performed for the constant time is managed with a basic I/O control system (BIOS) stored in a nonvolatile memory. In the case a keyboard control routine (INT 16) is not used for the constant time, the INT 16 is judged to be controlled by the application program. In this case, when no key input is judged for the constant time, the automatic display OFF function is not performed. Namely, whether the INT 16 is used for the constant time is monitored by a timer interrupt routine (INT 18), and the automatic display OFF function is not performed even when no key input is judged for the constant time in the case the INT 1 is not used.</p> |
