METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STORING LOW BUFFER'S DATA OF ON SCREEN DISPLAY TV

The apparatus stores both text data and color data into one row buffer to reduce the quantity of row buffer and display much information on a screen. It includes a control data storing section (10) for temporarily storing all data of column start position and character, a column controlling section (20) for counting the position of column and controlling on-screen-display, and a signal processing section (40) for controlling character data and color data to be generated simultaneously.
