<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title system designed to efficiently cut towel cloth into high- quality towels by setting the cutting position through the respective slits of thickness detectors set up at specified intervals from a cutting device to make all of uniform cut length for the plain weave parts on both sides of a pile weave part. CONSTITUTION:In a drawing system for cutting a continuous towel cloth A with alternate pile weave parts and plain weave parts, a moving device 30 is actuated forward to insert a clamp device 26 through the opening of a cutting device 23 to hold one of the plain weave parts followed by backward actuation to draw the towel cloth A by ca. one towel unit; along with this, the next pile weave parts end is positioned at such a check interval for the slit T of the first thickness detector 20 set up on the upstream side at a specified interval from the cutting device 23 as to be passable for the plain weave parts but impassable for the pile weave parts, and the plain weave parts is cut with cutters 24a, 24b. Thence, a feed roller 56 is brought into contact with the resulting cut end followed by moving until the pile weave parts on the drawing side is checked at the slit of the second thickness detector 57, and excess length portions due to varied dimensions of the plain weave parts are cut to make all of uniform cut length.</p> |
