<p>PURPOSE:To easily prepare a document excellent in outward appearance even in the case an implementor has no editorial design knowledge by inferring with document information such as the contents of the document or the attribute and document design knowledge information, and deciding an optimum design. CONSTITUTION:This document preparation supporting device is composed of a display part 1, document storage part 2, knowledge data base 3 and document design decision part 4. The document storage part 2 stores code data or graphic data prepared by a word processor, etc., generally electronized document such as the kind of the document, the data of preparation and the usage, and data expressing additional information as the document information. The knowledge data base 3 stores knowledge specifying evaluation words and mutual relation between document design elements and document attributes as the document design knowledge information. The document design decision part 4 decides the document design according to forward inference or backward inference based on the document information.</p> |
