<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an azimuth-range average amplitude value from differing with a true average amplitude value so as to provide a signal processing unit whose accuracy of detection of target signals is enhanced by skipping a missed azimuth bin when calculating the azimuth-range average amplitude value if because of increase in scanning speed data processing at first scanning does not end until the data of the next azimuth bin enters and an indefinite value is written in the azimuth bin to be processed next. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude information of an amplitude detector 6 and the data of a flag writer 18 are stored in a memory 7 and pieces of the amplitude information are added together by an azimuth direction adder 9 and a flag checker 19 inputs the result of this addition to a range direction adder 10. A divider 11 divides the result of addition of an azimuth and a range direction by a divisor indicated by the flag checker 19 so as to find an average value and then detection of a target signal is performed by a comparator 12.</p> |
