<p>PURPOSE:To insure fail safe in failure in the low sped side control system and then insure vehicle stability during high speed running thereafter, in a four-wheel steering device to control the rear wheel steering angle during operation of a handle by means of an electric motor for operation stability during high speed and an electric motor for small sharp turning control during low speed. CONSTITUTION:A four-wheel steering device is provided with a means by which the device is returned to the neutral position at failure in the low speed side control system (d) by a normally operating high speed side control system (g), and after returning to neutral, rear wheel steering angle control is continued as it is by the high speed side control system (g).</p> |
