PURPOSE: To draw and replace a deformed heating rod by cutting the rod at least in one zone in the casing of a pressurizer by remote control. CONSTITUTION: The heating rod 3c has a bulge 17 above a spacer plate 4a. Then, the rod 3c is cut at the position 18 under the bulge 17 directly above the plate 4a, and then cut at the position 19 directly above a spacer plate 4b. The three separated parts 20a are drawn out from the exterior of a casing 2. The parts 20b, 20c are drawn from the upper inspecting port of the casing 2. A cutter 25 can confirm the deformed rod 3 by a supported small-sized video camera, and moved at continuous step in the circumferential direction of a water passage line 27 between the two rows of the rod 3. When the grasping fingers 32, 32' of the cutter 25 are engaged with water passage orifice 27, a cutting tool supported to an operating turret 30 cuts the rod 3 above the plate 4a. Another cutter cuts it under the plate 4b. |
