PURPOSE:To make cleaning of a tank main body and an expansion tank executable separately and easily with corrosion-preventing treatment liquid after welding, and to make the treatment liquid discharged thoroughly by a method wherein connecting pipes are provided respectively to the tank main body and the expansion tank so that the pipes project from the tanks, and each of the connecting pipes is connected with each of connecting hoses. CONSTITUTION:A cooling water tank 1 is equipped with a tank main body 2 for storing a fixed quantity of cooling water and a water pressure-regulating expansion tank 4 that is integrally connected to the tank main body. A plurality of connecting pipes 23, 24 and 43, 44 are provided to the tank main body 2 and the expansion tank 4 so that the pipes project from the tanks. The connecting pipes 23 and 43 facing each other and the connecting pipes 24 and 44 also facing each other are connected respectively with a connecting hose 7 and a connecting hose 8 for ventilation, and thereby the tank main body 2 and the expansion tank 4 are connected in communication with each other. The tank main body 2 and the expansion tank 4 are cleaned with a treatment liquid after completion of welding that is applied to both the tanks. After that, the treatment liquid is discharged easily and thoroughly through a cooling water outlet 22 and an opening provided to the connecting pipe 44. |
