<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a new grain quality examination device which measures quality of hulled rice. CONSTITUTION:A grain selection device 1 selects only hulled rice having predetermined particle size, as hull rice. A take-out device 2 of hulled rice blows off colored rice as abnormal rice by an air gun 8, and a hulled rice hopper 0 houses only the hulled rice. At a quality examination device 3, a beam from a light source 11 is divided into spectrum by a diffraction grid 13 via a reflecting mirror 2, and therewith near infrared of which wave length varies continuously, radiates a sample in a sample cell 15. Penetrating beam through the sample is detected by a penetration beam detector 14 and thereby penetration beam spectrum is obtained. And then, a built-in computer processes the obtained original spectrum and thereby obtains contents of quality evaluation components in the sample and evaluates taste of the rice.</p> |
