The connector is for filter bags etc. It has a basic body of multi-layer cardboard or the like, with an opening (5a) for dust to pass through into the sack and with a sliding closure (6a) between two layers, having a handle (10a) projecting to the side of the body. - The body is in one piece, folded along scored folding lines (34, 35, 36), the layers then being glued together. The closure is at least part of the folded component and attached to the remaining part by means of tear lines (27, 28), so that it can be torn away after the folding and gluing.
