The goods (4) are moved to the wrapping position by a feed (13), while the wrapping sleeves (2) are moved to the wrapping position on a separate feed above the goods. Both feeds are slung from a support frame (17) on shafts (18), comprising threaded spindles to adjust the relative positions of the feeds to cater for different goods layer heights. The spindles can be adjusted by a central control, using cable and pulley drives, or by bevel gears and drive shafts. The wrapping sleeves are taken from a magazine (6) and placed on their feed.
