<p>PURPOSE:To prevent pressure to the recording area of a recording medium by varying and controlling the running speed of the recording medium in accor dance with the regenerative condition of regenerative data on a memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:The detected regenerative condition is classified to three conditions of (standard) (a tendency of delay) and (a tendency forwarding) by a regenerative condition detecting circuit 14 and a control signal controlling the target value of a tape speed in accordance with respective conditions and the shift timing of the data in the memory circuit 15 is supplied to a system controller 2. That is, a second memory 20 storing three kinds of the distribution pattern data, the target value data of the tape speed specific for respective patterns and the data on the shift timing of the data on the distribution pattern of the regenerative condition data is provided in the circuit 14. The detected regenerative condition data and the distribution pattern are compared and the target value data and the data on the shift timing corresponding to the most approximate distribution pattern are selected and supplied to the system controller 2.</p> |
