<p>PURPOSE:To establish a treating method for crud generated at solvent extraction by passing the clad generated in solvent extraction process of nuclear fuel reprocessing through a filter of specified small hole diameter. CONSTITUTION:Crud generated at contacting nitric acid solution containing unsoluble residue at solvent extraction of nuclear fuel reprocessing with orgsanic solvent containing tributyl acid, or crud generated at contacting nitric acid solution containing elements such as uranium or zirconium with solvent containing deteriorated product of tributyl acid such as dibutyl phosphoric acid, monobutyl phosphoric acid, or phosphoric acid, is filtered with a filter having small hole diameter under 40mum. By using such filter under 40mum, unsoluble residue consisting of platinum group series elements, or complex compound of low solubility generated by reaction of metallic element such as zirconium with dibutyl phosphoric acid, monobutyl phosphoric acid, or phosphoric acid, can be separated from the dissolution interface between a water phase and an organic phase by filtering process.</p> |
