PURPOSE:To provide the protective system of a down-load program capable of preventing malfeasant down-load from a HOST side by checking the validity of the down-load at a down-load target device side, and performing the protection of the down-load program being operated. CONSTITUTION:This system is comprised of two HOST computers 1, 1a, the down-load target device 2, and I/O interface cables 3, 3a which connect the HOST computers to the down-load target device 2. A password code table to which the down-load control program 7 of the download target device 2 refers is equipped with plural password codes decided between down-load control programs 4, 4a in advance, and state report information reported from the down-load control program 7 or the down-load program 8 is comprised of flags representing a down-load applied/unapplied state and a permitting/prohibiting state, etc. |
