PURPOSE:To simplify a driving mechanism by making a rotary display device compact. CONSTITUTION:A rotary display device 20 is equipped with an endless film tape 30 having a pattern in each piece recorded, ultrasonic vibrating plate 31 which contacts the reverse surface of the film tape, ultrasonic motor consisting of a revolution roller 32 which presses the film tape to the ultrasonic vibrating plate, and tension applying means 34 and 35 which apply the tension which is weaker than the transport force, in the reverse direction to the transfer direction by the ultrasonic motor, in order to apply tension in the division between the film tape 30 passing through a window 23. The film tape 30 is transported by the revolution roller and the ultrasonic vibrating plate, and accommodated in zigzag folded state by a film accommodation part B. |
