PURPOSE:To solve a problem of interruption of communication during communication being a defect of the micro cell system by forming a cell through the combination of a macro cell and a micro cell and providing a cell class selection button to a mobile equipment. CONSTITUTION:A composite area for a macro cell and a micro cell is provided in a service area. The user of a mobile equipment uses a cell class selection button 38 to decide whether the macro cell or the micro cell is to be used. A central control station receiving a call signal from the mobile equipment decides a macro cell base station or a micro cell base station closest to a current position of the mobile equipment in response to the cell used by the mobile equipment. Then the selected base station selects an idle channel and sends the channel number to a control circuit 36 via an antenna 31 and a receiver 33 of the mobile equipment. Thus, the mobile equipment can use the idle channel of the macro cell or micro cell base station. |
