<p>PURPOSE:To prevent resolution of detection around a faulty interrupt system in the touch panel device detecting a touch through the interruption of a light beam. CONSTITUTION:When a light emitting element Di is faulty, a light beam irradiates to a light receiving element Qi opposite to the faulty light emitting element Di from light emitting elements Di-1, Di+1 adjacent to the faulty light emitting element, and when the light receiving element is faulty, a light beam irradiates to a light receiving element adjacent to the faulty light receiving element from the light emitting element opposite to the faulty light receiving element. As a result, the deterioration in the resolution of detection around a faulty interruption system is prevented.</p> |
