PURPOSE:To provide a noxious organism-proofing agent long in residual activity, giving excellent preventive effect, also having excellent therapeutic effect, thus even capable of disease injury control by treatment after infection. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula [R<1> is alkyl; R<2> is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, COX<1> (X<1> is alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, etc.), etc.; Z is CH2S, SCH2, CH2O, CH2CH2, CH=CH, CidenticalC, CH2SO, CH2SO2, etc.; R<3> is phenyl, pyridyl, benzothiazolyl, benzoxazolyl, naphthyl, thienyl, furyl, quinolyl, etc.; A is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, phenoxy or pyridyloxy] or its salt, e.g. methyl N-[2-(3-chloro-5-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridylthiomethyl)phenyl]carbamate.
