PURPOSE:To effective remove a hum noise caused by an ambient magnetic field without affecting the performance of pickups which detects string vibration nor increasing the size of the electronic stringed instrument. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the pickups 50-70 which detect string vibration, a hum noise detection coil 80 which detects the hum noise caused by the ambient magnetic field is installed at a distance from strings and switches SW7-SW9 for selecting the pickups 50-70 are provided. A CPU 112 controls the switches SW1-SW6 according to the operation states of the switches SW7-SW9 and removes the hum noise mixed with the detection signals of the pickups 50-70 with the detection signal of the hum noise detection coil 80. |
