PURPOSE:To command a speed change by fitting according to the request of a driver by delaying the output timing of a speed change indication following a delay time from the output of the speed change indication to the speed change execution. CONSTITUTION:It is judged to be set to the (n)-th speed when a running status is shown by (A) point and to be up shifted to the (n+1)-th speed when changed to (B) point. When the speed change is carried out, a speed change reaction time is calculated. This speed change reaction time is a time spent from the lighting of an up shift light 11 to a time in which an up shift operation is carried out and is calculated by an electronic control device 10 for engine. A shift line is changed to a high speed side or a low speed side in response to the speed change reaction time found out by the calculation. Thereby, an operation delay time from the lighting of the up shift light to the execution of the up shift operation, is shortened. |
