PURPOSE:To obtain a wax compsn. excellent in water resistance, oil resistance, nontackiness, nonstaining properties, and resistance to the wax removing action of an org. solvent by compounding a specific fluorosilicone oligomer with other necessary ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A fluorosilicone oligomer of formula I (wherein R1 is H or methyl; R2 and R3 are each trimethylsilyloxy, 1-4C alkyl, alkylcarbonyloxy, or alkoxy; RF is a group of formula II or III; X is H, F, or Cl; n1 is 1-10; n2 is 0-8; m is 1-10; and l is 0 or 1) (e.g. a compd. of formula IV) is compounded with other necessary ingredients (e.g. petroleum wax) to give a wax compsn. The oligomer is prepd. by reacting a peroxydifluoroalkanoyl of formula V with an unsatd. organosilicon compd. of formula VI. |
