The video and audio information recording sys. includes a dubbing part (100) transmitting picture reproduced information from a reproducing sys. to a recording sys. and a picture display part (110). The editing device in the recording sys. comprises a key input part (10); an editing adjustor (30) controlling the edition of the reproducing system and the recording system by a signal from the key input part; a part (40) driving a reproducing deck to transmitt the reproduced signal to the dubbing part; a part (50) driving a recording deck to record the reproduced signal; and a system controller (20) controlling all part of the system by a control signal from the key input part and controlling all function of the sys. by an editing command and information from the key input part.
