<p>PURPOSE:To simplify and make efficient window operations by preserving history showing the state of a picture and the state of a system while displaying the picture so as to retrieve and restore the state. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a display state storage part 310 to store the display state of the picture, system state storage part 320 to store the state of the system showing the display state of the picture and corresponding relation storage part 330 to store corresponding relation between the display state of the picture and the state of the system at that time. Further, a retrieving means is provided to retrieve the display state of the arbitrary picture from the stored display states of the picture, and a retrieving means is provided to retrieve the state of the system in the case of displaying the retrieved picture while using the stored corresponding relation. Moreover, a means is provided to display the display state of the picture retrieved by the retrieving means and to restore the state of the system at that time.</p> |
