PURPOSE: To provide a labeler which can accurately determine the timing for moving elements in sticking pressure sensitive labels on an article successively. CONSTITUTION: In sticking pressure sensitive labels 12 carried by a moving web material 14 successively, this labeler 10 changes the label feeding speed by a switch 34 which checks a label position on the web material 14. The labeler 10 is equipped with an encoder 35 adjusting the pitch of a drum 18 which carries labels 12 and sticks labels on an article at a label applying station 20. The encoder may be equipped relating to a conveyor for conveying the article to the station 20. |
