<p>Phosphate-substituted vitamin E is effective for protecting cells from effects of aging and from chemically-induced cell injury and for stimulating cell repair. The phosphate ester of vitamin E is particularly useful for protecting the tissue in the intact animal when given in a protected form such as in microdroplets, microcrystals, or liposomes using protective materials such as lipids or lecithin.</p> |
