<p>PURPOSE:To pressure-weld a pulley to a rotor by friction, and prevent electric corrosion of a friction pressure-weld surface. CONSTITUTION:A protective body 7 (made of resin or low melting point metal) is inserted into a groove board adjacent to an expected friction pressure-weld surface of a rotor 1 with a pulley 2 of light metal, and the protective body is melted by friction pressure-weld heat. Burr is generated by the friction pressure-weld from a boundary of the friction pressure-weld surface of the rotor 1, and the burr closes an opening of the groove, or restricts outflow of the melted protective body from the groove. After the friction pressure-weld, the protective body 7 which is resalidified is attached to the burr stretching in the opening of the groove for enclosing and protecting the weld surface against brine, etc. The weld surface of the rotor 1 with the pulley 2, that is a different kind metal joint surface, can thus be prevented from electric corrosion, thereby lowering of the binding strength between the pulley and the rotor can be prevented.</p> |
